Recently I wrote a blog on how to lose weight at home and it attracted my friends to ask me to give them tips to gain weight.
In order to gain mass it must be done safely.
I know that as much as it is difficult to lose weight for obese it is equally difficult for underweight to gain weight.
Underweight can cause a lot of health problems like:
- Weakened Immune system
- Stress and Depression
- Fertility issues
- Hair loss
- Nutritional Deficiency

The body mass index (BMI) is a measure that uses your height and weight to work out if your weight is healthy. So to stay fit one must focus on having a healthy BMI.
(IMPORTANT NOTE: Before starting this blog I just want to say that this blog is for those people who are underweight and want to gain weight in a healthy way. This blog promotes no body shaming)
So for my friends and people looking for some basic and simplest tips on how to gain weight let’s start :
Have you ever saw people excluding rice from their diet because eating rice increases their weight. Including rice in your diet can help you gain weight.
One cup of rice contains about 200 calories, and it is also a good source of carbohydrates, which contribute to weight gain.

Also instead of buying a whip cream it is better if you make your own whip cream. Consume this in adequate quantity because too much of anything can be harmful to your body.

In order to gain weight you need to add more calories to your diet.
Weight gainers has helped many people to gain body mass.
Although not every weight gainer shakes have a pleasant taste, it might require you to do some research before buying one. The action of these weight gainers are different for every individual.

4. ADD MORE CARBOHYDRATES TO YOUR DIET
Adding right carbs to your diet will help you in increasing your weight but there is a condition here, alone carbs doesn’t help in increasing weight but trans-carbs do have a tendency to be calorie dense.
Like for example bagels or pasta are delicious and not that harmful when it comes to increasing body mass.
5. ADD MORE PROTEINS TO YOUR DIET
Yes you heard that right! Proteins has many benefits and it is very important for your body. Not only proteins help in losing weight but it also helps in gaining weight.
Protein is essential because it is what your body needs to build lean muscle.
Adding more proteins to your diet can definitely help you gain weight. Consume protein bars, protein shake, granola bars, etc
